Its up to the kiln gods now! Finished glazing and experimenting with some more iron oxide. Firing on a slow cycle and 30 minute soak. With the soak and a slower cooling period I hope to avoid some of my pinholing problems. The clay body that I’ve settled on is really nice to throw and very forgiving. I’ve also gone back to the beginning and started hand building more. I love “simple and elegant” so I’m goin to see how far I can go with a white clay body, white glaze and iron oxide. Cant get much simpler than that. As for the elegant… always striving.
